couldn't connect to disk.swissdisk.com

Anybody any idea what I'm doing wrong? I have downloaded BitKinex. I am using Windows 7. Unfortunately BitKinex fails to connect to swissdisk. I get the following error: HTTP: Connection attempt failed. (/) The BitKinex log says "couldn't connect to disk.swissdisk.com => ip: 174.129.37.94, port 443"

Connecting to SwissDisk via BitKinex on Windows 7

As you can see here Windows 7 has it's quirks, but everyone agrees that BitKinex is the way to go. I believe this setup tutorial is not the latest version of BitKinex All In One client but it's still pretty accurate.

Re: couldn't connect

The problem also might be that it is trying to access "/" when you need to access "/username". BitKinex should not have to query for anything in the root of the server (especially since it is not WebDAV enabled on "/", but only in user directories).

From my limited understanding of how BitKinex works, it seems the bug lies in the client and how it expects to access the server. It should not do this, or at least not fail when it cannot do a PROPFIND on a directory below the one you are trying to access.

I'm not sure but...

It seems it is trying to make an HTTP connection, when it should be doing an SSL-HTTP (https) connection.

I'm not a BitKenix user, but a SwissDisk admin. I'd like to help resolve this, but need more information.
